About
The Inman Park Belugas were first organized in 2009. We swim at the Inman Park Neighborhood Pool.
We currently have children from all over representing many different schools and neighborhoods, including Mary Lin Elementary, Springdale Park Elementary, Hope Hill Elementary, Howard Middle School, The Friends School, The Children’s School, The Paideia School and Midtown High School. Our team stresses community with a laid back attitude focused on fun.
The fee for members of IPPA (Inman Park Pool Association) is $200 for the first child and $100 for each additional sibling (Non member $255). The fee includes all the coaching sessions, team shirt, meets, ribbons and awards. Talk to your friends and see if their kids would like to swim for the Belugas. We strive to make every child achieve success.
Parent(s) of Beluga team members are required to volunteer for a shift or two for at least one meet. Some of the duties include timing, ribbon duty, announcing, kid wrangling, runners, set up and clean up. The meets are a lot of fun and it is a great way to meet your neighbors. You'll have an opportunity to sign up, or opt out, when you sign up for the swim team.
Swim Happy!
